The final of the Consistency between defending champion Mandy Stitt and first timer Marcia Douch turned out to be thriller. Even though Mandy had the upper hand for 3/4 of the game Marcia displayed fighting qualities to get 19 shots in 2 ends challenging Mandy to get the remaining 3 shots needed for the win. Both players played consistent shots in very windy conditions but Mandy’s experience in tight situations saw her come away with the win by 12 shots. Thanks to Bette McDonald for marking the game.
