AGM for Queanbeyan Bowls Club Incorporated

The Board has set Thursday, 29th August, 2019, at 6.00 p.m. as the date for the first AGM for Queanbeyan Bowls Club Incorporated.

Nominations for 7 members of the Board will be called 3 weeks prior to this date.

If you wish to nominate, please state which position you are nominating for :

President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary plus 3 Directors are open until COB Sunday 11 August 2019.

Full bowling members can nominate for one or more positions.  Anyone who wants to be nominated must submit a paper detailing the skills they bring to the role.  This is in case there is to be a vote, then members can make an informed decision, especially, if the nominees are not known to them.  Nomination forms can be printed from the link at the end of this post or are available from the Club notice board.

Opportunities for voting will be held during the 2 week period August 13-26 on a first past the post basis.  Voting can be made at the Clubhouse on:

Tuesday 13th and 20th between 9.00am-10.00am

Thursday 15th and 22nd between 9.00am-10.00am

Saturday 17th and 24th between 12.00pm and 1.00pm

The first AGM is a very important meeting to attend as your presence not only demonstrates your interest in the affairs of the club but is another avenue in which your voice can be heard.
